I really did not understand what you wrote, but if you put 24volts to the F70 motor, there could be damage to all sorts of things

ok, I finally got around to test and good news i have 60 ohm by connecting my multi-meter to the blue wire and white wire of the CL multi-hub with key switch for power to CL multi-hub to off position and with NEMA2k backbone connected to my Raymarine Axiom also power off. So my NEMA2000 and CL are properly connected. Yes the 6YG-8A2D0-00 is also connected when doing my ohm test.
so, the only problem is the 6YG-8A2D0-00 i am going to ship it back to headquarter for a repair or replacement.
thanks a million for your help. I will post a video soon.

when properly configured,
is arranged in a "backbone" - with,
at each end, the white and the blue wires connected via a 120 ohm resistor
like so:
as far as testing 'data wires'
with all the devices 'off',
you should have:
- continuity between all whites,
- continuity between all blues,
- a 60 ohm resistance between white and blue, anywhere
By the way -
I didn't see what Yamaha model you are working with;
but, although Yamaha 'assumes' you will use their Gateway -
if the engine is 'mechanical control' -
NOT "DEC" / 'drive by wire' -
then you really don't need the Yamaha Gateway -
just connect up without it.Captain steve - 1974 wellcraft airslot 165 with 2019 Yamaha 70

Oh Oh, I am not 100% certain that I disconnected 1 of my 24 volts battery to get 12 volts to start my engine.
I think I did but unsure.
How do I check whether I ruined the ECM on the F70?
Please help and thanks.,

my 2019 Yamaha 70 hp is working properly, so will have to ask dealership to check th 6YG-8A2D0-00-00 gateway.

Unbelievable. My dealer told me MY outbound ECU was sending engine data to motor #3, so they reset it to #1 and it worked. Gauge starts to display engine data.
i am fighting with Yamaha Warranty for the 2 hours labor ($270) my dealer charge me.
I have a small 17 feet boat with only ONE outboard, never had 3 motors on my tiny boat so the ECU is at fault here!
unbelievable!!!Captain steve - 1974 wellcraft airslot 165 with 2019 Yamaha 70
