  • Tilt sensor part

Hi all. I have a 1997 C90 that I just replaced the tilt motor on. Unfortunately I broke the little plastic arm that is on some sort of sensor"Trim Sender"above the t & t motor. I can't seem to find the part on any diagrams?? What is it, is it necessary and where can I order one. Tilt and trim seems to be working fine but I haven't water tested it yet. Thanks

Makes sense what is the part name/# ? Is just the plastic arm available, it looks to only be attached by 1 screw.

Is it item one in the illustration linked to below?

You can find all of the parts for your motor by referring to the various sections of the Yamaha illustrated parts catalog.

Yes it's the trim sender, but I haven't been able to find just the little plastic arm piece yet. Still hunting

You won't find just the arm. The arm is integral with the sender itself. It is replaced as an assembly.

I was thinking the same thing. Could one be made? Although I would use starboard.
