  • Water in exhaust

Hi their i have a 2009 20hp 2 stroke yamaha outboard and am curious to know why it has just started to blow water out of the top 2 exhaust ports. In the water it looks like a steam boat what can cause this to happen.

    its supposed to.
its how the exhaust gets cooled.
those two ports are called idle relief.

Cheers for the input everyone turned that the cooling pipe was blocked up at the engine port only allowing water to the bottom cyl top cyl was just creating steam and getting rather hot now to order a heap of gaskets joy joy.
