  • Command Link Gauges

I have a brand new 22ft CC with new F200XB 4 cylinder, and 2 round command link gauges and a Garmin 1041XS. Have single binnacle 704 con*****er.

I paid the extra money for the command link from the dealer assuming he would hook everything up. Instead, the command link only reads: tach, speed, voltage, trim, engine hours and gas level. I could have gotten this from the base gauges.

How do I add the fuel management, oil pressure, cooling water pressure, engine temperature etc?

IF and ONLY IF, you actually have the two gauge command link it has everything but water pressure.
water pressure requires a sender kit.
you will have to scroll through the menus but that is covered in the command link owners manual you should have.

Let's see a photo of the gauges you have. Many have conventional gauges but think they are Command Link.

OK, so you are right. I have the conventional Digital gauges shown on the bottom.

How much more would I have paid for the command link instead of the digital gauges?

I know I can get the fuel information to the Garmin 1041XS can I get the rest of the information?

I can't comment upon what would have been charged for Command Link versus conventional gauges. That would be up to the boat builder or dealer. Cheaper of course if you installed your own stuff.

You can get almost as much data from an NMEA 2000 MFD as you can get from CL gauges. Many are using just the MFD for data. See your owner's manual for the MFD.

By the way, if you paid the dealer for CL gauges, but did not get them, I would be back at the dealer finding out why not. He might owe you the updated gauges or a refund.

Might want to look at your purchase and sales agreement to see what it says.

              Gauges

I paid for Digital Gauges. Might have been $500, not certain however.
