I have a T9.9 high thrust that is less than a year old and ever since I got it the throttle is touchy at low speed when I trole I am sometimes either to fast or slow because there is spot when moving the throttle up it RPM goes up graduatedly then it jumps a bit past where I want to be and I trole too fast and same when throttling it down a spot no change then a significant drop in RPMs. I have manually moved this with my hand with cowling off and verify it something to do with the way it responds to throttle. Is this by design? This has been its way since I got it. My last kicker a 9.9 Honda never did this. Also seems shimmy the boat a lot more at idle than my Honda did but it was a different boat fiberglass where this one is aluminum. This spot is moving the throttle right above idle then once past the dead spot it jumps then it smoothly raises the RPM all the way. fYI edited this because kept blocking the word trole I had to misspell it for it to show.
