F225 water pressure gauge question

Hi All,
A question please. Should the water pressure tube on a F225 be full of water right to the gauge or should there be air in the line also? My gauge stopped working so I tested the gauge it is good, but my water tube have areas with water then some air then some water.

typically your going to see trapped air in the line.
