Water pressure gauge issues 200hp ox66

Hello all,
So,water pressure gauge not working,engine working fine,not overheating,pee stream fine.I took ferrule off engine,blew with compressed air,no movement on gauge,blew compressed air directly into gauge,still no reading,so assume gauge is bad.
Where tube attaches to motor is there a brass tube that the plastic tube goes over,it looks like a small piece of brass tube is in the end of the plastic line.Can I reattach as is or do I need new ends?

If a gauge does not work more times than not it is not cost effective to try and find someone that can repair it. At the price of labor you could easily pay over a hundred bucks to have a gauge repaired when a new one is about a hundred bucks. Or less.

Depending upon the installation there is more than one way to attached a tube to a gauge and the tube to the motor.
