Relays in 704 Twin t/t control wiring

I'm baffled....
can't puzzle out why they are even there -
and that the coil of one is connected to the Green wire?

messed up a drawing(wiring schematic/diagram)

showed a green tied to a black

I suspect that Yamaha lets their wannabe trainees start in the company working on data and manuals.

Ever seen a Yamaha revision correcting an error? Neither have I.

Why are they there? Relays to control relays.

Yamaha's design philosophy seems to be that if X parts are required to perform a function then X plus Y parts will be used. More (to go wrong) must be better.
