What size socket do I need for my Yamaha 115 head bolts to remove?

Part #20 is a head bolt and should be exposed (not under the valve cover) to check the size:

TownsendsFJR1300 Okay thanks. Didn’t know if it had a special bolt on the inside that might look like a 12point style bolt.

It does not have a hex head for a socket. It is internally wrenched.

Oh, be very careful when removing the cam shafts. They are prone to breakage if the caps are not removed in a specific sequence. Say when reinstalling the caps.
