If you post the model, year, etc, it can be looked up and see what's on the other side of those screws..Scott

Found your other thread for your 2001 XL 800;
http://www.yamahaoutboardparts.com/f...f-th17005.html
And the parts thread;
http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Ya...00Z/parts.html
I couldn't find what's inside the hull.
From reading your ORIGINAL post, you'll likely have to trim some foam out, repair or replace your part and just re-foam the area..
In the future, if you can keep it on ONE THREAD, it would be much easier trying to help..Last edited by TownsendsFJR1300; 08-19-2014, 08:51 PM.Scott

Did you read my above post?
Here it is again; you'll likely have to trim some foam out, repair or replace your part and just re-foam the area..
Its obviously foamed after part of it (what your trying to fix) is assembled at the factory. Start trimming!Scott
