first off I have a 26 foot grady white with twin 2002 f225txra engines and I went out the other day and was cruising around around 4300 rpm's and I made a turn and then all of a sudden the audible alarm was going off and the rpm's on both motors were going down, pulled throttles down to neutral and audible alarm was still going off so I shut down the engines. I started them back up and tried again and rode a minute or two made another turn and it did it again. Shut engines down again and thinking maybe it was a fuel problem I switched over to my auxiliary tank. started engines up and everything was fine, didn't have the problem again. So I just assumed I had a problem with my main tank which was half full at the time which is 65 gallons. took boat home and did some looking and tested the vent and the gas cap and looked at the pickups and found nothing. Took boat back out yesterday evening I switched back to my main tank and idled out of the creek for about 10 minutes to get to the river, once I got to the river I then pushed the trottles on up to 5000 rpm and before it got to the rpm the alarm went off and both engine rpm's fell. Shut engines off and sat for a min and pumped my primer bulbs and started it up again and took off. Rode around for a solid 30 min and never had the issue again. I was in my shop working on boat and I decided to hook my yds software up to it and saw where the left motor had a oil preassure sensor code irregular out of specification. At first I thought it was a fuel issue but would a fuel issue cause the alarm to sound and was it just a coincidence that when I switched to my aux tank the other day it didn't do it? Will the one motor with the oil pressure sensor failure make both engines loose RPM? I changed the oil pressure sensor today but havnt had a chance to run boat again.
