  • Two F25G(F25C) with 6YC display don’t show alarms

I have two F25G(F25C in the US) installed on my sailing catamaran with a 6YC display connected to them and two 703 trottels.
The port side engins 703 have given a constant audio alarm after say 15 min of running but the display have not showen any alarms.
I have checked both cooling water and oil level but I can’t find anything wrong and as I said no alerts or alarm on the display.
The display show normal water temp, rpm shows.
Any reports that F25G(F25C) don’t send this on the communication bus.

OM for the 6YC indicates it is compatible with a fuel injected F25C model. Manual says it provides over temperature and low oil pressure alerts.

It does not monitor for oil level. It monitors for oil pressure.

How do I check the oil pressure? I did check the oil level to determin that it was oil in and at the correct level(oilstick)

you can remove the oil pressure switch and plumb in a gauge -
(btw the sending unit thread is 1/8" BSP)

while you have the switch out you can check that it operates correctly:
        closed (continuity) at zero pressure,
opens (no continuity) at ~4.3–8.5 psi (and staying open above)

you could also simply swap the switches between your engines
and see if the problem moves

          Sounds like a solution fairdeal.
But where is the switch located?

              +100 ^^^^.

When the last time the water pump was replaced?

The oil pressure, if low, shouldn't take 15 minutes to activate the alarm...
