F150 low pressure fuel line tie wrap

So plastic tie wrap that goes over fuel line that goes in low pressure fuel pump has fail. Is it ok to used the SS hose clamp instead of tie wrap ?

I had tired using some tie wrap from mercury that I had laying around. It wouldn’t hold the fuel hose in place. The fuel line would slip of the low pressure pump nipple easily .

You must not be tightening the zip tie enough or they wree old/frail zip ties. Sure, you could use a small hose clamp, but a zip tie will work - and work well - if done properly.
