Adding a remote trim switch for a F40TLRD

What is the best way to add a remote trim switch next to my seat on a Yamaha F40TLRD 40 HP tiller. I have an aluminum boat and would like to add an additional switch so that I can drive and throttle with my left hand and adjust the trim with a remote switch with my right hand just below my seat on the vertical wall of the seat support. Where should I connect the wires and is the positive or negative leg switched?
