  • 2007 VZ250FTLR Need Help!

engine will run for a little while, die out. I have taken it to two mechanic shops, one tells me maybe its the driver injectors, the other one said maybe wire harness. I don't work on maybe's...

    Diagnosis Record
    26, injector, 109.2
    13, pulser coil, 109.2
    23, Intake temp sensor, 109.2

MAYBE voltage drop somewhere causing everything SHTF at once.
    Is it maintaining fuel pressure?
    running on four cylinders?

Did the engine stall at 109.2hrs?

some years back I had a VZ250 doing about the same thing.
would run for right at 13 minutes above 5000 RPM and fall down.
occasionally it would set a code for #3 injector.
what I found was as the #3 pulser coil exceeded about 62V it shut off some of the injectors and the ECU went to a default.
the specs in the book are MINIMUM voltage specs.
however I did find above about 62V on the pulser coils did bad things.
the solution on that motor was a pulser coil assy.

        Mechanics can't dignose!

I received the boat motor back, The motor will not start at all now. I have a new battery, changed the starter, the spark plugs. The mechanic stated that I needed new wire harness on the motor, which consist of two, I had them replaced, two driver injectors. Motor is not firing at all. this is the engine monitor from the last reading. Now i'm being told it needs a new computer.

so, lets get something clear here, the mechanic has replaced that stuff and the motor wont start, and you are playing with it now? I think if that's the case, he should be fixing it again, just for fun, the kill switch is in place isn't it?

            dude.
you now have technician induced failures.
            go to the Yamaha website.
find a dealership near you that employs a master tech.
            have it fixed.
