All I really need some help on this one! 
Motor runs great from hole shot to 5100 to 5300 RPM. Then it acts like it's missing cannot get it over 5500 RPM. I shut it down and check all the plugs. all are dry and firing good. But #2 cyl. is wet and look like its not firing. I have overhauled the carbs. I have removed all check valves in the system. New filters. and rebuilts the fuel pumps. At first we thought it was starving for fuel....Had my marine mechanic check it out, Coils, timing, trigger, stator, compression test, and CDI. All checked out good. I do have Boissen reeds in it and larger jets and a exhaust tunener. Up to this year it has run perfectly.
It is a 1991 Yamaha ProV200 on a 20 foot Gambler bass boat.
