Wasn't sure how else to make the title. Of course the fuel sensor will stop the motor if there is water in the separator filter but that's the problem. There is no water in the bowl.
This is a 40 HP 4 stroke Model F40LA. There was an issue with water but no more. Disconnecting the sensor allows motor to run fine. Reconnecting it has motor stopping like key was turned of after a few minutes.
No alarm or gauges on this install that are known of. No alarm sounds from key.
Any suggestions?
