cam roller adj (Rodbolt)

Thanks to Boscoe, I finally found the correct roller for my 225TLRS. Another reply to my post said they did not adjust to touch on any motor due to vibration causing a flat spot over time. My book says adjust to touch the cam. What do you recommend? I am replacing due to a flat spot on my roller. I believe Yamaha calls it a bushing and some call it a throttle roller.

some engines use that roller for pick up timing, some don't.
in your case pick up and idle timing is the same.
I would set it so it barely clears the cam.

The roller was 5.00 and shipping was 6.00, but I came out ahead due to gas money and dealer prices.
