My trim went out on me last week on my 2005 HPDI Yamaha and tried replacing the trim pump motor but that didnt fix anything. I suppose i need to buy the whole new unit but they are very expensive i think like 2k. Does anyone know of any used trim units that would work on my boat or a way to find a better deal on one. Greatly appreciate it.

A number of PTT assemblies used on other motors will work on yours as well.
