How come yamaha doesn't send a diagram for the install and routing in the kit? Different pump 1986 70 hp.

now you simply grab the later SM.
Yamaha isn't much on helping the DIY guy.

hey, at least now a harness diagram is a fold out and in color.
that only took about 20 yrs.

I should have ordered a power head gasket and pulled it. What a pane to change that pump.

I have never understood why Yamaha does not have one illustration that includes every darn wire and every darn component on the one page. Double page or triple page if need be. Colour is nice but damn it, at least make sure every wire is depicted. Where it goes and what it connects to.

If they are thinking, I wonder what it may be. Another mystery in life never to be solved I suppose.
