i have a 2004 Vmax HPDI 225. When it was new it went in for it's ten hour service (actaully at around 20 hours. While it was in there they did a service bulleting repair for some ov er oiling, part of that involved swapping out the ECU. Evers since then I have struggled to get the boat to run the boat like it did for those first ten hours of operation after break in. Does this sound like a possible ECU problem. Also I see the ECUs now have a new part number for them. Does anyone now what changes were made to the ECU for that change, why were they changed?
