1991 pro v 200 has lost 200 rpm

P200tlrp. Usually hits 5900 rpm no problem. Lately it hits 5300 quick and then slowly climbs to around 5700. Where should I start? I replaced the fuel line and bulb already.

What kind of spark plugs are you using?
I changed mine from the suggested NGK to Champions. Never looked back and runs smooth. Just got my Jcraft out for the first ski of the season and it started with no issues! I'd take a look at the plugs..

my suggestion?

fix the fuel system.
preferably BEFORE you detonate a piston.
