I am having a problem starting the boat...cranks slow. Starter is good, new battery. After one day the battery drains and the boat won't start. I have a battery switch which I turn off after each use. Is there another part I should be checking?

Check all your connections. This happened to me when salt water got into the socket for the removable stern light. Drove me nuts for a big part of a summer!

change batt cables

may be battery selector switch (if any) has corroded contacts (inside, it is sealed) and draws much amp out of battery
