Yamaha V Max 150 HPDI Manufactured 02/00 Model VZ150TLRY. It cranks fine. The ignition switch nor the kill switch will turn it off. To turn it off - turn off switch and put in forward and accelerate. it runs at slow speed for a short time then will shut off.

Ignition Switch

Replace ignition switch. Simple plug in. In the interim use the choke to shut it off. Switches are around $125 on amazon, takes less than 10 minutes and a screwdriver to change out.

There is no choke on a VZ175. Pushing in on the key does nothing.
