Went to start my '88 70 hp today and found oil in the bottom cylinder, enough that the battery could not turn the engine over. It has not run since end of March.
I also have noticed excessive smoke on start up lately, and oil dripping down the leg from the bottom of the lower cowling.
Seemed to run fine once I blew the oil out except for some initial smoking.
The oil level does drop slightly over time, been watching it.
Is it time to go back to pre mix and not take a chance?
