2000 vx-250 saltwater series and 1998 ox66 250 i

Hi new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Banged up my lower unit pretty good and seen a 2000 vx250 cheap. Wondering if the lower unit and possibly other parts were interchangeable with the ox66 in hopes of possibly buying vx-250 as a parts motor thanks in advance sorry if it's a dumb question.

typically the VX motors are 20" shaft lengths.
most the case internals are the same.
you would have to check gear ratios on your own. I cant here at the house.
