now you are comparing apples to tree stumps.

      I am 57.
back when I started doing this work professionally I was in a vocational auto shop at Hogan high in Vallejo CA with a very competent instructor.
He taught us how to correctly use our tools.
especially the one between the ears,
that is why the manufacture makes manuals.
then at age 21 I started as a machinist with GOEX in Cleburne TX.
by age 22 I was programming and setting up CNC lathes and milss.
      they issued me blueprints.
at age 27 I joined the US Navy aand was trained as a Fire Controlman and my specialty was the Close in weapons system or CIWS.
they issued me publications for the two radars, the gun train platform, the gun elevation yoke and the Gun and the drum.
      point is.
      use the correct tools.
      use the correct manual/blueprint.
do not try to re-anganeer stuff just because another manufaturere did it different.
follow the blueprint and QC accepts the part.
follow the correct publication and the job works.
