Enduro tilt/trim

Hey I have a Yamaha 60 enduro tiller steer and the manual trim/tilt won't stay up when I lock the lever off it won't move up but will fall down what do reckon is causing that?

If it is the poor man's tilt and ran in salt you may want to replace it along with the cable.

Wear and tear or some part has broken would be my keyboard guess. Inspect the system and try to find out where the problem is.

Sounds like he is saying that the motor will lock down on trim pin OK. But when he tilts it up to run shallow or all the way up to stow...it won't stay in place and falls down.

Please post the year and model of the motor Boon8899.
