  • 2004 225 fuel injection pump cooler line

I recently replaced fuel injection pump and in the process the water line hose on the top of fuel injection pump cooler pulled off. I can't find or see where this small hose goes to. it has to be attached to the block since it cools the fuel. Can't find any diagrams showing where it attaches. Thanks for any help.

IF and only IF you mananged to pull it off the block.
about the only way I know to reattach it is to pull the heads or pull the power head.
    take another careful look.

it is still attached to injection pump cooler on the top but did pull off what I would assume where it would attach to head. it is possible to pull off the electronics on the front of the motor?? crazy its such a small rubber line with just a little squeeze clamp

        no
whats crazy is the amount of folks that dink with thangs they maybe sould not be dinking with.
cooling water comes out of the lower portion of the block, through the VST fuel cooler, into the regulator cooler, out of the regulator and out the resticto for the tell tale.

        fairly complex.
why did you remove ANY cooler lines>
reason I am asking is I am seeing stupid sheet on you tube for VST,Tstat and water pump stuff.
stupid enough that failure is GAAAAAAARRRRUUUUNNNNTTTTEEEED.

but no. to remove the VST on an F200/225V6 does NOT require any fuel cooler line removal.

the line from the top of the cooler goes to the voltage regulator.
cant help ya with driving 9 sec cars, I just built the motors that powered them.

I probably do 4-5 VST services on the F200/225 a month and have for about 14 years.
in 14 years I have never removed the cooler lines to remove the VST.
ya there is not much room but lucky for me my hands are skinny.

I will advise that anytime the VST is off, remove and flush the port injector bank.
