  • Yamaha tach gauge

Hey guys, i have an 2005 Yamaha F115 AET (4 stroke) and two gauges for it. The speed gauge is working but the tach gauge makes some trouble. I have two plugs and don’t know where to connect them. They are at the end of a 15 ft long cable coming out of the „tach gauge“.
Anybody knows, where to connect them? There is no possibility in the motor.
    Greetings from germany,

    Sebastian

On a "2005" perhaps not a place for that female connector w/ the pink, gray, orange, black

but I would think there would be a mate for the other.

I do not know if the engine harness side colors are the same as in this engine:

When Boscoe stops by, he will sort it....

btw, the only function of those wires is to get you trim position,
and illuminate the high temp and low oil pressure warning lamps.

'powering' the tach, and the rpm input,
is done with the individual bullet connector leads.
