Canada only T50 ??

I just bought a used 2001 T50 from iboats. It came from canada.(I think) There are 2 small square connectors near the main round connector that I`m not sure about. 1st one is small square with a pink,gray,black wires. 2nd one is alittle larger with yellow/black line,, yellow/red line,, white/black line,, Pink?and white? I asked my local dealer, the one that I just bought about 700.00 worth of controls,cables,etc from. He said that its a canada motor and I would have to bring it in so he could figure out what those were for. He said that canada motors are alot different than the U.S. I pretty sure he just lied to me. Can someone help?

Not sure what is different on Canada motors but the connectors are probably for the gauge harness(trim/oil harness) although the wire colors are different than that on US motors.
