On the serial number plate, it says the following:

6G9 S 001967
YAMAHA MOTOR CO., LTD.
MADE IN JAPAN
PAYS D'ORIGINE JAPON

Questions: What year is this motor? Since the label has both English & French, is it a Canadian model? Does boats.net have parts for this model?

It's a 1986 standard model 4 stroker from what I can tell. No owners manual available but you can order a service manual from www.Yamahapubs.com p/n LIT-18616-FT-99.
