No, I don't have one (heard of them), nor used one... Might have to look at getting one thou.
I've had to remove numerous stuck on bolts / nuts over the years, a cut off wheel, grinder, make quick work of that.
The threads were pretty course so I don't know if their available. He's checking into if their (the entire cutting part with nut) NEW, are available.
He found them used on Flea Bay, but the condition, who knows..
The only nut I removed actually came off hard, and with a box wrench, so splitting the nut wasn't wasn't necessary. (As round as the nut was..
The others, very likely a vise grip would remove..
It's getting the bolt/cutter out without destroying it, is the issue.
It just gets rusty/nasty from it's job, (in the ground, digging/chewing hard, spinning fast, dirt forced in there, etc) crap, water gets in there causing removal the issue.
Once I get some new cutters, I think I'll try some penetrating oil, a piece of aluminum (between the bolt and hammer) and a 5 lb hammer.
If that doesn't do it, trim the air hammer tip down some and center it in the bolt(there IS a small divit there)… If I can get them out, I can rotate them 1/3 and tighten it back up with a sharper edge showing/(in the working area)...
I'll post back up when he brings the machine back with some cutting tips.

On tie rod ends and ball joints (or any other stuck bolt) I like to leave a nut threaded on to cover the end of bolt to protect the threads and then hit the nut with a big hammer.
if the nut gets messed up, you just unthread it off bolt and put a new one on

Yep, familiar wth that (and done many times). The threads are very course (sp?) and I was concerned about damaging them with the nut.
Both the stud and nut appear to be similar. I'll try it on the next cutter once he brings it back over with some replacement cutters..
Perhaps, leave the nut on towrds the end, then the air hammer (with a trimmed down tip to fit the center of the bolt) may work.
