Yamaha F80B 2009 starting issues

I have a Yamaha F80B 2009 model. Sometimes it starts first go and other times I could turn the key up to 20 times before it goes. When I turn the key and it doesn't start I can hear the motor clicking. Once it does start it doesn't miss a beat. The starting inconsistency has been getting worse ie won't start first go more often.
