  • Electric start for Yamaha Enduro E40XMHL - help & advice needed

Hi, we have two 40 hp 2 stroke Enduro engines on our boat, and would like to find out what it would take to install an electric start. We would also like to look into the possibility of getting electric tilt & trim. What parts would be required and are there any special considerations (eg. extra space, positioning)? I have attached a photo of the back of the boat showing the two engines. We are on a fairly remote little island, so would be doing most of the work ourselves. Any help and advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

A very nice boat, but my opinion is that addition of electric start and tilt and trim would be extensive and costly....maybe easier/better to locate some other motors with the desired features....A tilt and trim transom bracket can be purchased and installed but that wouldn't solve your electric start problem...
