  • Command Link Problem

I installed a command link system with four square, displays (tachs, fuel and speed) on a Sea Craft with twin F150 Yamahas today. I go through the procedure of powering up the 12 volt system, then as directed by the installation manual, turn the port ignition switch to the on position, go to the "Number Engine" and verify it is on #1, then turn it off and do the same on starboard except change the #1 to #2. Crank each engine and everything is fine. Shut down both engines and then after restart the starboard engine goes back to #1 on it's own. I have done this procedure several times with the same result. Am I doing something wrong to get the starboard engine to save that it is #2 or could the Eprom be bad in the ECM and it is not able to save it? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide !

Thanks for all the reply's and all the wonderful information, guys ! I guess I'm on my own !
