Yamaha 703 contoler

My 1999 boat has a 703 side con*****er on it and the round cover on the bottom of the arm has disappeared.
sun had deteriorated it and I found in loose and laying in the bottom of boat before.
I just stuck it back on.
I noticed It is missing now, no where to be found.

Is there a difference in newer ones?
or is the old 1999 cover the same as the newer ones.
not sure where to look up parts to see

Then select "Outboard", then "Rigging Parts and Propellers", then "Rigging and Parts for 2005 and older", "Rigging 2005 2005", then "Control standard side 703 push".

Find the part number of what you need.

Looks like the 703-48225-00-00 part has not changed over the years
I saw it listed for some in 1986 to today also
