Hey guys i need a new prop for my 1998 9.9 high thrust and found a good deal on ebay for what I believe are 20hp 2 stroke props. Now would that 20hp 2 stroke prop be ok because I'm putting this motor on a 14 ft aluminum? Arnt the high thrust props designed for sail boats?
The 20 hp prop is 9 1/4 x 10'and the high thrust prop is 9 3/4 x 11 1/4
So I guess the 20 hp prop is meant for higher rpms? Would it still work we'll or better to stick with a high thrust prop even on a aluminium boat?
