How old is my 225hp 4-stroke?

if its still legible that EPA decal just fwd of the rear port latch will have the year of certification.
its newer than an 02 due to the injector driver in the cowl.
if it does not have the charcoal vapor recovery canister on the back its most likely going to be older than about 05 or 06.
