Does anyone know if the trim lift kit 6h5-43840-05-EK can be used on the C40ELRP engine? If not, are there other trim kilts that could work. From the diagrams I saw, the parts all seem to match.

a manual tilt electric start motor, probable has different parts on it beside the T&T Cylinder.
Maybe Someone can comment on that also
If it was mine I would be looking for a aftermarket T&T unit to bolt the motor onto

6H5-43840-05-EK is the power trim and tilt assembly. Just a part.

As you suggest, I would go with the CMC power trim and tilt unit that mounts to the transom and that holds the motor.

Panther Marine is another manufacturer for a T&T unit. That'd be the way I would be looking into, as well.2000 Yamaha OX66 250HP SX250TXRY 61AX103847T
