can some one tell me the difference in a 6BL-82590-20-00 and a 6BL-82590-10-00 trying to swap from a tiller to a custom remote ( just start stop and alert no power trim, throttle controls or shifter controls).

What is the model of the motor you want to convert. The complete identity.
And to be clear, you don't want to be able to do anything remotely but start and stop the motor with warnings.

One harness (-00-00, -20-00, -40-00) appears to be for a remote con*****ed version of the motor whereas the other (-01-00) appears to be for a tiller handled version.

biggest difference is the length of the harness.

Did the search and all is get is 4 things none about a 25 4 stroke all are about wiring remote oil cans and command link gauges. I see were there was a wiring diagram at one time posted by bocsoe99 but it was removed. I am in a bind and need to use my f25 on my Bowfishing charter boat I have separate shiftier and Throttle controls all ready in place was going to use a Yamaha standard key switch (704-82570-08-00). Trying to find a wiring harness for plug and work. Before i just build my own as it has to be 30' anyway.Here is a pic of my controls now just need a box for the switch.
