  • Proper oil flush after water in oil

I have an F225 that blew a head gasket. The repaired head is going back on tomorrow. Looks like about 1/2 quart of salt water got into the oil. What is the recommended procedures to flush the bad oil? My current plan is to do 2 oil changes with cheap oil then change with my usual Mobil 1. Is that sufficient or is there more to it?

How does saltwater get into your oil?

      drain it.
      then refill and run it.
use the engine heat to get rid of the moisture.

Blown head gasket lets water into cylinder that leaks down past piston rings into crankcase.
