I have a 2003 Yamaha F200 and have an issue regarding throttle once the engine has been running for about ½ hour. It will warm up and run for about 30 minutes, but if I stop and restart the engine or come back to an idle for some time I can no longer take it past about 3000 rpm or use any more than about ½ throttle – the engine labours and pulls back to about 2000 rpm and will only let me pull up past 3000 rpm very slowly over about 5 minutes.
I recently had rusty water in the fuel, so I have already done the following:
• Serviced all injectors and their baskets
• Cleaned out entire fuel rail system of contamination (I have even pressure on both sides)
• All filters/separators have been replaced
• Flushed all fuel lines and primer bulb
• New high pressure fuel pump (old one had rusted due to water in fuel)
• Flushed fuel tank
• New spark plugs
I am lost as to what else it could be…any advise would be greatly appreciated!
