I have an 06 225 HPDI and just recently I changed all filters and spark plugs just for preventative maintenance. I took the boat out 4 times after all the part replacements and the motor was great.
The last time I took the boat out it started right up but after about 1 minute it started to sputter and it was idling very rough and then eventually it stalled. It started right back up but started sputtering and stalled again. I started again and when it started to sputter I put it in forward and it still sputtered and stalled, I started it again and put it in gear and gave it throttle and it did not stall and sputter, it ran great at wot.
After fishing for about 1 hour on the *****ing motor I started the motor to head back and it did the same thing until I gave it throttle. So in idle or in gear with no throttle it sputters and stalls. I changed the lift pumps and took it out and it did the same thing.
Any body have experience with the same problem or anybody know what else it could be?
