1986 175 hp

Good afternoon , my question relates to my 1986 175 hp , a quick summary . At idle im fine , once i start moving i lose power , but if someone pumps the ball as im moving it seems to be better , what I've done so far is , run off separate tank , emptied and vacuumed tank put new fuel and filters and new fuel , took off carbs and cleaned and adjusted floats all is fine there( i think ) i did notice that while removing plug wires while idling that two if the cylinders didn t make much difference with wires off or on , my compression is 124 all around , im guessing fuel pumps are bad ? Thanks ,

Sounds more like fuel restriction
With bad pumps, pumping ball dumps gas in c/c, and will make it bog
