99yam; I applied some mild loads. You can see the voltage drop. I am thinking that the regulator is doing this internally as needed to keep the output voltage at some specific value. Changing constantly as other loads in parallel with the R/R are changing.

More tests to be done at three other rotor speeds. Then with the Yamaha R/R connected.

Sorry, I confused you by bringing up an RR. I was trying to say that in my tests I was doing manually what an RR does automatically. Causing the voltage to drop by applying a load.
