It is replaceable. Spare parts are available from Yamaha.
It works by allowing fluid to move in one direction only. In this case oil from the oil pump to the carburetors. Generally used in this type application to prevent back flow of oil and to keep the oil lines primed with oil.
You say yours are believed to be faulty. How so? If open faulty then oil might drain back down the line. If closed faulty then no oil will get to the respective carburetor.

Are you sure that it is a three way valve? Appears that one of the legs is just used as a mounting attach point.
Now that I look some more, maybe these are not part of the oil delivery system.
Would you have to drill it out or can it be rotated and pulled out?
God forbid that the Yamaha service manual would provide any detail.
Maybe Rodbolt will chime in about these rascals.

those valves are a light press fit.
can usually be rotated out with vice grips.
I use Loctite 518 on them at reassemply.
usually you destroy them on removal.
not part of any oil delivery.
part of the "puddle drain" setup that most 2 strokes use.
