Multifunction Tach Troubleshooting

I just installed a multifunction tachometer on my new '05 boat w/'05 Yamaha 50 hp 2-stroke. On initial trial the tach, trim and hour work fine. The problem is with the oil and water monitoring function. The water temp indicator shows a flashing bar and the oil indicator does not display anything. I double checked all connections and everything appears to be fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like the dip switch's in back of tach are set wrong. Set the trim sender to 3 lead trim sender, 6 pole alternator and 2 stroke engine.
