  • TPS static voltage

The problem is I can't get my F90TLR to idle. When I start the engine it runs but when brought to idle it stalls.

My shop manual (SM) says that the Throttle Position Sensor output voltage s/b .8-1.2v at engine idle but I can't get to idle.

What would be the TPS voltage be when the key is on, shifter in neutral and engine not running?

    I'm reading ~.97 to 1.1v.

Do you have a Yamaha service manual or some off the wall other manual and are you sure it is correct for your specific engine?

0.8 to 12v at idle, you have other problems, check fuel psi at vst.
