F40 throttle body assembly.

I have a F40 2017 with a single throttle body, the idle speed control is intergrated with the TPS, seems to be failing the YDIS active test, anybody have a fix for this?

The part nr of the throttle body is 6BG-13750-02-00, that is the complete unit, the electronics (ISC, TPS and air temp) are not sold seperately. Anyone know if it is possible to get the sensor?

What TPS active test? The test for the TPS is simply checking for output voltage with the throttle closed and with the throttle open. If the test fails check the voltage to the TPS.

Now if you are talking about the ISC active test, that is a different matter.

The throttle body is an assembly. Available only as an assembly. Component parts of the assembly are not available from Yamaha.

Unless used commercially, a 2017 F40LA should be under warranty. If the motor is not performing properly, why is it not at a Yamaha dealer? Goodwill might be available if there is no warranty.

Having said all of the above, the throttle body is more than likely made by Mikuni. It is possible, although not likely, that Mikuni may be able to provide parts of the throttle body assembly. But I suspect they will say that it is provided as a complete assembly only. We are living in an integrated world.
